The catalyst behind most technology milestones at Bay Talkitec, Arunan is a technocrat
with a passion for innovation in voice/video technologies. Part of the company's
board and management team, Arunan drives Bay Talkitec's R&D.
Prior to founding Bay Talkitec, Arunan worked in senior positions at leading IT
companies and brings his over two decades of experience in the IT industry to the
company. Arunan graduated in Electronic engineering.
K Sheker, Co-founder & Jt. Managing Director
Sheker compliments Arunan's R&D focus with his expertise in marketing, finance, HR and administration. Together, they form a formidable team which has guided Bay Talkitec's consistent growth over the years. Part of the company's board and management team, Sheker plays a vital role in forging partnerships with existing and potential telecom and corporate customers and in ensuring there is significant economic value for all stake-holders. Prior to founding Bay Talkitec, Sheker headed Murugappa Electronic's special project division. Before that he held key positions at defence R&D labs developing an on-board computer system for missile guidance. Sheker is an engineering Post graduate from IIT Madras.
Kumar Shiralagi - Member, Board of Directors
Kumar Shiralagi is Managing Director at NEA-IndoUS Ventures, based in Bangalore, India. Prior to joining NEA-IUV in 2007, he was the head of Intel Capital India, the venture capital arm responsible for Indian investments. As it's Country Director, he drove Intel's India investments and had a very successful run in making and managing investments and exits. Notable companies in the portfolio were NIIT, Subex Systems, Futuresoft, R-systems, IndiaInfoline etc. and the past Boards that he has served on include Sasken Communications, Tejas Networks, Sharekhan, Nipuna, Deccanet, Real Image Media Technologies to name a few.
Prior to joining Intel in 2003, he was the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Lytek Corporation in Arizona. He has worked with Motorola in various areas ranging from technology development to corporate strategy and investments. After completing his Engineering in Electronics and Communications from National institute of Technology (formerly KREC), Karnataka, he worked in Electronics and Radar Development in 1984-85 in Bangalore. He earned his PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management. He has published over 60 papers in international journals and conferences and has 23 US patents to his credit. Kumar is a senior member of IEEE and a Charter member of TiE Bangalore.
V Ramasubramanian, Advisor
Ramasubramanian has over 3 decades of experience in the electronics and IT space. Director of Eastcom Systems Pvt. Ltd., Singapore, he plays a vital role in Bay Talkitec's solutions delivery to clients in Singapore and Malaysia such as Hotel Shangri-La, Transitlink, Radiance Communications, Gleneagles Hospital and Mt. Elizabeth hospital. He also guides the company on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for it's various innovations and software products. Ramasubramanian holds a Bachelors degree in Technology and a Masters degree in Management.
Vinay Kumar Mahajan - Vice-president, US operations
Vinay Kumar Mahajan has 25 years of experience in the IT software and hardware industry as a technical and business head. As Vice-president, he heads the US operations of Bay Talkiitec. His current responsibilities include driving rapid growth for Bay Talkitec in the US market and ensuring delivery of solutions to the company's US clients. He has played a major role in successfully delivering the company's solutions to ELFS, GISTME, Infinity Internet, and EBS among others. Prior to Bay talkitec, Vinay was the Director of Advanced PC Solutions at a Channel partner of Bay Talkitec's operations in Northern India. Vinay is an Engineering graduate and Management post graduate from reputed institutes.
T Hariraj - Chief Operating Officer
Hari, A Certified Six Sigma Core Green Belt heads the Sales & Marketing functions at Bay Talkitec. He comes to Bay Talkitec with 25 years of extensive experience in Sales & Distribution. A pro-active individual with logical approach to challenges & being effective even in highly pressurized working environment. A team leader who is able to develop & motivate a large sales force to achieve targets, satisfy internal & external customers, demonstrate a strong ability to take up the task to successful completion.
Hari is an Engineering Graduate in Electrical & Electronics discipline and Post Graduate in Business Administration both from a leading institute in India. He has worked in various organizations including Honeywell ED&S, TVS Electronics, Amtrex Hitachi Appliances Ltd, DCM Data Products and Parry & Co. His core competencies include sales & distribution, people management, business development, commercial operations, customer relationship, solution selling, key account management & project management.
He has won many awards including "RECO" Award for being the top performer for 4 consecutive years in Amtrex Hitachi Appliances ltd, "Flame" Award for best function award in 2004 at Honeywell ED&S (India) Ltd.
Ilango Periathambi- Director, Pre-sales
Ilango heads the Pre-sales division which is responsible for managing and providing technical support to the Sales and Professional Services division of Bay Talkitec. Prior to joining Bay Talkitec, Ilango held various positions in Enterprise services group of Sun Microsystems, USA for over a decade. Before Sun, he was working with Microland, India looking after their regional support. In all, he brings over 18 years of global experience to Bay Talkitec. Ilango holds a post graduate degree in Electronics Engineering from Anna University, India and MBA from USA.

Bay Talkitec's Indian operations are divided into number of regions to ensure prompt service delivery. Each region is managed by a qualified team of professionals driven by a Business head.
S Balasubramaniam, Business Head - Karnataka
With Bay Talkitec since 1998, Balasubramaniam has a total experience of 34 years - 20 years of which has been in the IT industry. Prior to joining Bay Talkitec, he was the Founder-Director of an IT organization. Besides ably looking after the region, Bala was responsible for establishing a major contact center for Indian Railways at Bangalore. Bala holds a Masters in Physics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management.
P Gopinathan
Gopinathan has over 35 years of experience in the electronics and IT industry. He is responsible for entire North Indian operations of Bay Talkitec. He has earlier held senior positions like Country Manager for customer support and manufacturing head with a reputed IT organization in India. Gopinathan is an electronics engineer with a post graduate degree in management. He is a member of Delhi Management Association and All India Management Association.
