Normally the Yellow Pages are listed in the directory or kept in the web. This can be retrieved only if you have a PC with internet connection or Yellow page Directory Book. BTT has come out with a solution to have Yellow pages information over Phone. The solution is based on a CTI server with IVR, Automatic Speech Recognition and Text-To-Speech capability. The caller can dial the service number (x-yyy-), the system greets the caller, asks for the preference like computer , taxi, institution, hospital etc. and fetches information from web server. The required information will be converted into voice using Text-To-Speech and will be conveyed over phone. The caller can interact with the system and get to know various information as if he is conversing with human operator.
